Haydale, the global technology solutions company, has added ultra-high purity silicon carbide (SiC) particulate, SI-TUFF™, to its product portfolio, expanding its capabilities in the coatings sector.
This silicon carbide is available immediately in a range of sizes to meet the varying application needs and it is expected that this will be particularly well received for use in Semiconductor, electronics, composites, and ceramics, as well as for use in coatings.
As an additive, the SiC particulate can help to increase corrosion resistance as well as ensuring the end-product is both wear and fracture resistant.
