Partnership to supply functionalised graphene

In 2022, Haydale and Italian manufacturers Vittoria announced a partnership to supply functionalised graphene for use in their graphene-enhanced bicycle tyres after successfully co-developing improved rubber compounds.

As the leading manufacturer of performance bicycle tyres, Vittoria has pioneered the application of graphene in the rubber of bicycle tyres since 2015 and the collaboration has developed a tyre that is stronger, lighter and more durable than existing tyres, as well as offering better grip and reduced rolling resistance.
